Campus Invasion 2010

The annual Campus Invasion: Bandemic tour is exploding this month across 5 major universities in South Africa.  The Campus Invasion: Bandemic tour, brought to you by Smirnoff Spin and supported by MK and Channel O, promises to bring an eclectic mix of the best bands and DJs, to the universities of Pretoria, Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Grahamstown and Johannesburg.

The exhilarating tour kicks off in Stellenbosch, at the Klein Libertas Theatre on the 22 January and features top South African bands Fokofpolisiekar, aKING, New Holland, Ashtray Electric and the Pretty Blue Guns.

On 30 January, the second leg of the tour takes place at Emmarentia Dam, Johannesburg Botanic Gardens and at Hatfield Square in Pretoria. The line up for Johannesburg includes aKING, New Holland, Gang of Instrumentals, PHDJ (Oz), DJ Kent, Kenzhero and Tidal Waves.

At the vibrant Hatfield Carnival, in Pretoria, students can look forward to outstanding performances from aKING, TKZEE, Taxi Violence, Rhythmic Elements, Jack Parow, Tidal Waves, PHDJ (Oz) and Black Coffee.

On the 5 February, Cape Town will experience the UCT Big Bash, featuring Euphonic, Milkshake and Ready D. The tour will finish off in Grahamstown on 11 February with a thrilling collection of music artists including Cassette, Taxi Violence and Black Coffee.

Be sure to kick off 2010 with the unstoppable momentum of the Campus Invasion: Bandemic, injecting South Africa with fresh sounds this summer.
